STUDENT
2nd place
Owen Tintor, Chloe Card, Elena Dobrowney
University of Manitoba
Project Summary
The second-place team developed a high-performance envelope using a cross-laminated timber, or CLT, system combined with continuous exterior insulation to reduce thermal bridging and improve overall performance.
Their submission demonstrated strong technical analysis and careful consideration of material selection and constructability. Overall, this was a well-executed and buildable solution.
